PictureNL is looking for individuals to fill the following full-time positions:

Industry Analyst

Reporting to the Industry Development Manager and the CEO, this position is responsible for assisting the Industry Development Manager and providing administrative support for all professional development initiatives for the corporation based on the needs of the local film and television industry.

To help fulfil PictureNL’s mandate of promoting the province’s film and television products and locations nationally and internationally, the Industry Analyst will assist the Industry Development Manager with locations requests as well as the development, execution and maintenance of PictureNL’s locations database.

The Industry Analyst will assist in executing PictureNL’s communications strategy to promote the corporation and its activities by way of various social media platforms. This position will also help implement PictureNL’s outreach activities which include, but are not limited to corporate events, workshops, career fairs and seminars.

The ideal incumbent should possess a combination of:

  1. University Degree
  2. Experience in the Film, Television or Multimedia environment
  3. Strong marketing, communications and social media skills
  4. Strong written and communication skills
  5. Strong ability to work as part of a team
  6. Strong ability to independently organize and accurately complete multiple tasks.

Salary to commensurate with experience.

Programs Analyst

Reporting to the Manager of Programs, this position provides administrative support for the Equity Investment Program (including the Development Loan Program), the Film and Video Industry Tax Credit Program, and the All Spend Tax Credit Program.  Skills required for this position include communication, organization, data analysis, and knowledge of program regulations and involves a variety of administrative tasks such as digitization of program files.

The ideal incumbent should possess a combination of:

  1. University Degree in Business, Economics or Commerce
  2. Certificate in Accounting Fundamentals
  3. Experience in the Film, Television or Multimedia environment

Salary to commensurate with experience.
