PictureNL and ACTRA are hosting a free online workshop on December 11, 2023, from 1PM to 3PM (NST). Facilitator, Casey Hudecki is an IDC Certified Intimacy Coordinator, and Partner at Intimacy Coordinators Canada and has been at the forefront of establishing this role in the industry.

This workshop will cover the role and purpose of an Intimacy Coordinator (IC) from Prep to Post.

• What is the function of an IC? What an IC is and is not.
• How an IC is meant to support the process.
• The weaving of consent forward practices into the film/tv workflow.
• Power dynamics in production.
• How an IC collaborates with each department: directors, costumes, ADs, prosthetics, stunts, VFX, etc.
• Nudity and simulated sex riders
• Closed set protocols
• Stunts, VFX, etc. during closed sets
• Nudity and simulated sex: BG performers, body doubles, stunt performers, stand ins.
• Q and A and discussion.
